These harmless, gentle giants are as impressive as they are relaxing and swimming with them makes for an unforgettable experience. Often four times the length of a human being these sharks live of plankton in the rich waters of The Maldives. The clear waters that surround the islands make spotting the animals all the better.

The best period to encounter Whale Sharks is from June until September when they are migrating through the ocean. Dive leaders will lead a group of shark enthusiasts and give you a full briefing for those wanting to experience them.
