Northern Loops of Thailand and Vietnam
Discover extraordinary scenery, generous, genuine locals, and some of the best food on the planet. The very best of Thailand and Vietnam in a single, unforgettable visit.
Before much of city wakes up and the constant hum of motorbikes kicks in, there is a peaceful “spiritual” side to Hanoi that many visitors miss. As the fruit sellers set up their wares and the children head to school in their crisp white uniforms, Tai Chi occurs daily in most of Hanoi Park’s.
If you’ve ever seen a group of people in the park slowly moving in synch, you’ve probably witnessed Tai Chi. Tai Chi is a non-competitive series of slow, flowing body movements with its routes in martial arts. These movements emphasize concentration, relaxation and as in meditation, Tai Chi practitioners focus on their breathing and keeping their attention in the present moment.
We'll arrange for your guide to pick you up early and take you to one of the local parks where you can join in with a public Tai Chi class, transfer back to your hotel for breakfast.
Alternatively we can make special arrangements with local temples in the heart of the city for private Tai Chi in idyllic settings. Here you will be able to partake in a class with your very own instructor, or simply watch and learn from a distance. A private breakfast of fresh coffee, croissants and fruit will be set up for you in the peaceful grounds of the temple.
You can include this experience as part of an Experience Travel Group holiday designed exclusively for you.
