Moon Garden is in the village of Ky Son; a beautiful rural hamlet with farmland, rivers, temples and churches that is only a short drive from Hanoi. It’s a peaceful retreat, boutique hotel and cultural experience all in one, with a unique and exciting range of activities on offer. Try your hand at cooking classic Vietnamese dishes, take an ox cart ride through emerald rice fields, cycle, hike, traditional herbal baths, tai chi, farming, home visits, fishing, voluntary work and more.

There are a variety of accommodations on offer with one and two-bedroom houses, as well as a traditional stilted house and even a renovated church that can sleep up to 60 people! Every house is clean, comfy and well-appointed with en-suite bathrooms and lovely traditionally Vietnamese design features. The houses are scattered around a charming central courtyard with a beautiful pond, lovely gardens and hammocks for relaxing. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and are all very keen to help visitors gain an authentic insight into life in rural Vietnam.
