Expect a very warm welcome from your hosts – a Thai-Dutch couple and their local family – all ready to make you feel at home.
The homestay is beautifully built using traditional Thai teak wood (the ‘Red Brick’ in its name is, in fact, just a nod to the Dutch owner). The cultural mix carries through to the food: expect homecooked Thai dishes for dinner, then wake to fresh coffee and home-baked bread in the morning.
Beyond the atmosphere and homemade meals, your hosts will help you explore the surrounding countryside, meet local people, and take part in activities like cooking classes to give you a deeper glimpse into daily life.
There are two simple but tastefully furnished bedrooms with large windows, which let in the jungle views (and sounds!).
