Here at Experience Travel Group, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all travel. Or in pretending we’re the only experts in the room.
So we’ve collaborated with people who live, breathe and shape Asia every day.
Together, we’ve created a collection of holiday concepts inspired by their worlds, shaped by our specialists, and brought to life for you.
These aren’t off-the-shelf itineraries. They’re thoughtful starting points, grounded in lived experience, deep local knowledge and a shared curiosity, which will be shaped around you.
Five creators. Five ways to see Asia.
These collaborations aren’t fixed formulas. The journeys are starting points,
sparked by those who know their landscapes inside and out.
Each one can be adapted until it feels perfectly, unmistakably yours.

Anu Dhillon-Singh
Environmental scientist, conservationist and hotelier
Anu has spent two decades rebuilding and rewilding her home in the ravines of the Chambal. Alongside her husband, she transformed their crumbling 19th-century family estate into Mela Kothi-Chambal Safari Lodge, one of India’s pioneering boutique retreats.
Set within 33 acres of regenerated forest, where gharial crocodiles bask on the riverbank and Ganges river dolphins break the surface at dawn, Anu’s Chambal Conservation Foundation protects the valley’s fragile ecosystem.

Sam Clark
Co-founder of Experience Travel Group
Sam has spent more than twenty years shaping our philosophy of immersive, responsible travel. These days, he’s usually steering the ship rather than planning trips himself, but fresh back from a seven-week re-exploration of Asia, this “collaboration” was the perfect opportunity to reconnect with what first inspired him: designing journeys that genuinely connect people to place.
During these travels, Sam was reminded just how magical the experiences we offer truly are. Nowhere was this more evident than in Cambodia, a country he first visited in the ’90s. From our Phnom Penh’s Through the Ages experience to the brilliant female-led ventures we champion – Sara’s home cooking, Noo’s market tour, and Soon’s Fish Island project – Cambodia remains an underrated destination, rich with stories that travellers rarely get to hear.

Kamal Thilakarathna
Expert naturalist, guide and jungle tracker
Born on the edges of Sri Lanka’s Yala National Park, Kamal joined Treetops Jungle Lodge when he turned 16. And he never left. 24 years later and he’s not only a host, guide and jungle tracker, but camp general manager as well and one of the company directors.
A self-taught naturalist with a sixth sense for wildlife, Kamal’s patient, instinctive approach reveals the island’s wild heart – especially its elephants, his lifelong fascination.

Lola Pasquier
Asia specialist
Lola is our Indonesia expert, newly minted Condé Nast Traveller Top Travel Specialist, and just back from a honeymoon that left the entire office jealous. She spent a month travelling the country’s wildest, most beautiful edges – climbing volcanoes at dawn, snorkelling untouched reefs and staying in places that feel like best-kept secrets.
She came home raving about it, which is how this itinerary was born: a pull-out-all-the-stops journey through Indonesia’s heartlands and hidden corners, made for milestone celebrations and travellers wanting something properly special.
