The 79 suites at Sala Phuket Resort and Spa are split into seven different categories and offer some of the most elegant accommodation we've ever come across. Quality private swimming pools are available in all room types except the Deluxe Balcony (which have excellent outdoor bathrooms).
The lavish yet understated Pool Villas have spacious lounge areas, outdoor bathrooms and tropical gardens. The interiors are gorgeous with a plethora of amenities and finished in calming pastels. Glass panelled doors ensure the villas are bright and airy and afford direct access to the pool. There are one and two-bedroom pool villas.
Two azure oblong pools sit between the pristine sands and the Sala Restaurant & Beach Bar, a stylish white structure with romantic round day beds, private dining tables, a quality cocktail bar and informal restaurant.

Luxury - Luxury hotels would have a superb level of service, very comfortable and usually spacious bedrooms, excellent food, great design and character. For us, when we visited, these places all had the 'wow factor'. A luxury hotel should satisfy the criteria of the most discerning clients.
