Constance Moofushi, South Ari Atoll The Maldives, Central Islands
Constance Moofushi is on its own island in the South Ari Atoll. Arrive by seaplane and kick your shoes off as you land on this tiny and very beautiful island. The resort is all-inclusive and offers spectacular snorkelling, beautiful facilities and delicious food.
The house reef here is renowned for fantastic snorkelling and diving. Swim with dolphins and manta rays, go fishing, charter a sunset cruise, set up a spa treatment or spend an afternoon by the beautifulpool.
The villas on the beach and over the water are designed with a stylish natural timber feel and feature thatched roofs and a sensitive environmental design that complements and highlights the lagoon and island surroundings. The beach villas measure 54 square metres and water villas 66m2. For extra space, choose a 94m2 senior water villa with its bathtub under the stars, double vanities and private terrace.
Two restaurants and two bars provide a wide range of cuisine and snacks. The Manta Restaurant is themed and changes daily, so there’s no chance you’ll get bored. Alizee is casual beach dining with a barand grill, and the Totem Bar serves lunch and dinner snacks.
The service, food and facilities all live up to the highest of expectations and it is difficult to fault the choices and standards available to guests. The resort is not specifically geared at children and there is no Kids Club, though plenty of families are warmly welcomed all the same. This experience is a truly idyllic honeymoon or getaway for couples and groups.
Luxury - Luxury hotels would have a superb level of service, very comfortable and usually spacious bedrooms, excellent food, great design and character. For us, when we visited, these places all had the 'wow factor'. A luxury hotel should satisfy the criteria of the most discerning clients.

Well, what can I say! It was awesome! We had the best time and fell in love with Sri Lanka! The Maldives were also lovely but we both felt 5 days was enough even with the diving!
