Overlooking the Punakha River and amidst terraces of paddy fields and thick pine forest, Dhensa combines a clean and modern style with traditional Bhutanese architecture. Soak up the peaceful and stunning natural surroundings whether it be from the hotel's open spaces, dining areas, yoga room or from your balcony.
There's easy access to many walking and trekking trails, making great day trips or short walks to explore the natural beauty of the Punakha Valley. With a nourishing and simple food philosophy, the restaurant serves western, traditional Asian and Bhutanese dishes using seasonal, local and organic produce. The dining area is set high amongst the pines, with an indoor section enclosed by floor to ceiling glass and an outdoor option too. A library is available for use, along with a yoga room which also enjoys serene views out over the forest.
Rooms are calming sanctuaries in which to relax, looking out over the beautiful valley scenery. They have balconies, quality amenities, wooden flooring and comfortable bedding. Bathrooms are large and modern, with bathtubs next to the window so that you can literally soak up the view!
