Bagh Tola
Expert-led safaris,
Intimate setting,
Exceptional wildlife
Couples,
Solos,
Nature Enthusiasts
A short distance from Kanha National Park’s Mukki Gate, Bagh Tola is simple, intimate, and very peaceful.
This elegant colonial style lodge is made up of old Raj-style British colonial houses and informal dining space for shared meals.
This lodge is ecologically responsible, interested in protecting and preserving the beauty and well-being of the land surrounding it.
Bagh Tola is managed by Eric D’Cuhna, one of Kanha’s most reputable and knowledgeable conservationists. It’s hard not to be caught up in his enthusiasm for the beautiful surroundings.
Kanha is a thriving tiger reserve with verdant jungle and incredibly diverse wildlife. Watch out for sightings of leopard, jackal, Indian fox, and many radiant bird species, among them Racket Tailed Drongos, Crested Serpent Eagles, and Brown-Headed Barbets. Khajuraho, Kawardha, and Amarkantak are easily accessible from Bagh Tola.
On-site, you can curl up with a book in the library, enjoy simple, healthy meals in a family environment, or take a guided safari.
The Rooms
There are eight rooms, all with four-poster double beds and furnished with antique hunter’s desks and other British Raj era artefacts. It’s not a luxury affair, but for those seeking a more casual experience, Bagh Tola is a comfortable and informal place to stay for nature lovers, bird watchers, and safari enthusiasts in Khana National Park.
