Mantra Koodam is a traditional Tamil property situated in the heartland of the former Chola empire in the Kaveri Delta.
The property focuses on values, faith and spirituality, so it is an ideal place for relaxation and taking some time out. You won’t find alcohol or meat served, and it’s not recommended to bring your alcohol, so in that respect, it is quite self-selecting.
The retreat has a strong emphasis on service, and all guests are made to feel very welcome, you’ll notice the lovely ambience as soon as you check-in. The rural feel makes it’s easy to escape and see a different way of life. If you are looking for luxurious accommodation, a gin and tonic in the evening and slick service, this probably isn’t the place for you, but we find it’s an attractive option for most, including families.
The Anna Prakshana restaurant focuses on healthy cuisine, and the chef will happily cater to your requests.
The beautiful pool is perfect to while away an afternoon and the river is just a few minutes walk away for a safe paddle.
