Luxury Travellers
No expense was spared to make Taj Falaknuma Palace a grand and imposing silhouette on the Hyderabad skyline.
The palace took ten years to restore and was filled with European antiques, chandeliers, artworks, and treasures fit for royalty in the process. Its aim was to recreate the luxurious lifestyle of reigning Nizams and their VIP guests. As such, you can expect the highest level of opulence from the moment you arrive.
Taj Falaknuma Palace is an opulent and flamboyant look at the glamour and splendour of a bygone era. This makes the hotel a particularly great choice for anyone who doesn’t mind a bit of ostentation.
Hyderabad is a 400-year-old city famous for glamour, culture, art, and consumerism.
If shopping is on the agenda, you’ll find fine collections of Indian perfumes, saris, and beautiful glass bangles. Visit the Charminar, the Mecca Masjid right next door, the grand Chowmahalla Palace, and the 13th Century fort at Golconda.
At the hotel, you can indulge in an Ayurvedic spa treatment, admire the tapestries and portraits on a hotel heritage walk, or poke through rare manuscripts in the palace library. Dress to the nines for fine dining or play it casual at dinner, whichever you prefer.
The Rooms
There are 60 rooms and suites in total at Falaknuma Palace, all of which are spacious and furnished with fine Italian marble, oak floors, and Colonial antiques. Book a Palace room for plenty of space and delightful touches such as hand-painted walls and beautiful mirror tiles in the bathroom.
