Baga and Calangute are hotspots for sunseekers and water sports, while Colva draws lively domestic crowds. For a more serene escape, head south to Benaulim, Varca, Cavelossim or Mobor, where white sands and low-key luxury meet local village life. Palolem still charms with its natural beauty, but nearby Patnem offers a more tranquil experience. ETG particularly recommend beach stays near Coco Beach, Majorda and the southern sands for space, peace and that classic Goan rhythm.

Goa’s beaches stretch from Querim in the north to Polem in the far south, hugging the Arabian Sea with golden sands and palm-fringed coves.
Whether you’re after sunset parties or secluded bays, there’s a beach to suit every traveller. The north is known for its buzz – think Arambol’s boho scene and Vagator’s legendary trance nights – while the south serves up calm seas and quieter sands ideal for relaxation and retreat.
