Overlooking the turquoise Timor Sea and backed by a 55-hectare forested nature preserve with dunes, swathes of long bright grass and jagged cliffs, this eco retreat feels totally off grid.
Scattered along a private bay with wide-open ocean views, Jeeva Beloam Beach Camp is a place where days slow and the noise of modern life fades away. It really takes ‘camping’ up a notch.
The atmosphere here is low-key and very relaxed, with the resort styling themselves as unique, comfortable beach camp.
The restaurant has an open menu, and the food is freshly prepared and delicious.
The private beach is absolutely spectacular, with gorgeous blue water, powdery white sand, and it is enclosed on both sides as a natural bay.
Fun local activities range from snorkelling and surfing to cycling and trekking into the pristine nature on your doorstep.
This is an ideal retreat for those looking for something a little different in the sun-soaked island of Lombok.
The Rooms
Rooms consist of a small but mighty collection of beach-front villas.
They’ll all modelled on traditional Sasak fishing homes: made with natural materials and are open in style with soaring ceilings and plenty of natural ventilation.
The décor is rustic but chic, as well as clean and comfortable, making the villas a lovely place to relax for a few days on the beach. Bear in mind there are only 2-3 hours of electricity every day in the morning and the evening.
