Lost Lindenberg
Design-led beach retreat,
Secluded slice of Bali

Families
Tucked away on the western side of Bali in Pekutatan, Lost Lindenberg is a delightfully small, secluded resort enveloped by dense jungle.
Rustling palms give way to a volcanic, black-sand beach and the vast Indian Ocean.
Far from the tourist trail, yet more accessible than you might expect, this boutique beach retreat lies around four to five hours from the airport, or just ninety minutes from the Java ferry pier.
It’s a great choice for those drawn to Bali’s quieter side and solo travellers or couples open to meeting like-minded guests along the way. It’s not the best fit for families unless you have keen surfer teens in tow.
Lost Lindenberg is built around communal living. A long wooden dining table brings everyone together for Balinese-inspired, plant-based meals served throughout the day (on your own schedule, and wherever you feel most comfortable).
The sun deck and natural pool naturally draw people in, so it’s common to cross paths with other guests, whether returning from the surf at Medewi or heading out to nearby temples by bike or e-scooter.
The Rooms
There are just 8 guest rooms, built in the style of luxury treehouse towers, all poke just above the tree line and offer ocean views through vast windows.
The rooms keep things stylish yet simple, with wooden walls and floors and bathrooms that feel almost part of the outdoors.
(There are quite a few steps and stairs connecting everything, so it might not be the best fit for anyone with mobility issues).
