Set along a serene stretch of Andaman Sea beachfront near Khao Lak, Bangsak Village has lush tropical gardens, boutique thatched rooms and a salt‑water infinity pool overlooking the sea.
Bangsak Village is something of a rarity for hotels in mainland Thailand, offering a genuinely secluded beach area. Ideal for couples of all ages, the resort represents excellent value for money for anyone looking to really get away from it all.
Bangsak Village Resort is a couples-only resort and children are not permitted, ensuring the relaxing atmosphere. The location is quite remote but the hotel offers a daily shuttle bus to Khao Lak town – about 15 minutes’ drive away – where a good range of restaurants, shops and bars can be found.
A large, rectangular, salt-water swimming pool with views out to sea sits at the centre of the hotel. Flanked by the main restaurant, this is the ideal place to while away the day. The beach itself is excellent and largely deserted. Facilities at the Bangsak Village Resort include an in-house spa, beach restaurant & bar, petanque, volleyball and free bicycles for exploring the local area and villages.
The Rooms
The 60 rooms offer three distinct styles: Coco Chalets under coconut palms, Casuarina Cottages nestled in gardens, and two‑storey Alocasia Bungalows. All feature polished cement floors, generous baths with separate showers, air‑conditioning, Wi‑Fi, minibars and furnished terraces.
The newer Ravenala Deluxe and Pool‑Access rooms are particularly good choices.
