The FloatHouse River Kwai Resort
River villas,
Pristine nature
Families
Couples

Boutique thatched-roof villas floating on a peaceful bend of the River Kwai, this unique eco-resort is perfect for those looking for an outdoor adventure in the Thai jungle, but with the comfort and facilities of a good quality hotel.
The Floathouse is a great option for both families and couples, with adventure and relaxation in equal measure in one of Thailand’s most naturally beautiful rural regions.

The Rooms
You arrive by boat at the 20 teakwood and bamboo villas all of which are tastefully decorated and have hot water showers, air conditioning, wi-fi, TV and comfortable beds. Positioned over the Kwai river and connected by decking-style walkways and pleasant common areas, each villa has a private sundeck with views out onto the river and the jungle. The hotel has a floating restaurant that serves good quality and varied food and is the main option for dining in the area as the hotel is so remotely located. Floathouse employs staff from the local Mon tribe, in keeping with their sustainable tourism ethos.
The hotel has a fantastic range of activities on offer, ranging from cycling, elephant encounters, bamboo rafting, canoeing, local village visits and more. With the Hellfire Pass and “Death Railway” close by, this region has a lot to offer to its visitors.
