Friends
Located at the entrance to the scenic Mae Rim valley, a short drive from Chiang Mai town, the Four Seasons Resort was the first of its kind in the area.
The resort also has a great spa with a diverse menu of treatments in serene surroundings. Treatments can be pre-booked in luxury packages for total pampering. There are two swimming pools, with stunning countryside views. For sports, the resort has two flood-lit tennis courts, a well-equipped fitness centre and free use of mountain bikes. There are three outstanding options for dining and an excellent Thai cookery school, with an open kitchen purpose-built for classes. The Mae Rim area has an incredible range of attractions and activities, from nature trails and farms to adventure activities.
Just 20 minutes from the centre of Chiang Mai and with international five-star facilities delivered with a northern Thai twist, the Four Seasons Resort is one of the most luxurious and stylish in the region.
Four Seasons Chiang Mai is for travellers who value calm, beauty and a deep sense of place. Set among rice terraces in the Mae Rim valley, it suits anyone seeking space, serenity and refined comfort.
Brilliant for couples, families or friends who enjoy nature at an unhurried pace, it’s a place to slow down, recharge and appreciate northern Thailand’s countryside without losing any creature comforts.
Dining is a real highlight. From northern Thai flavours at the resort’s main restaurant to relaxed poolside meals and hands-on cooking classes, food here feels thoughtful and grounded in local culture. Watching the light change over the paddies as you eat is part of the pleasure.
The Rooms
Spread across 20 acres of landscaped paddy fields and gardens, the resorts 64 Pavilions and 16 Private Residences (with one, two or three bedrooms) are airy and spacious, and the rooms stylishly fitted with all modern conveniences.
Set in a host of two-storey villa constructions, each Pavilion comes with a sheltered outdoor terrace with views across the paddy fields and surrounding mountains. Bathrooms have deep bathtubs and separate showers and incorporate the natural environment.
The master bedrooms are decorated in Lanna style, with varnished wooden floors, king-size beds, tall wooden ceilings, antiques and artwork. The Private Residencies are ideal for families or small groups and offer the same standard of facilities but with grand living rooms and Penthouses with spectacular panoramic views.
