Safari-style tents strung along a bamboo-clad ridge in the Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet.
This all-inclusive camp in northern Thailand’s jungle is one of the most adventurous stays in Asia. You reach it by longtail boat along the river that divides Thailand and Myanmar, arriving at the camp’s own private pier.
There’s nothing else around for miles, just forest, river and a sense of real escape.
The camp sits within a vast private reserve, so the views from every tent are uninterrupted jungle and hills.
Stays are all-inclusive and designed for active adults. Meals, drinks (including house wines and spirits), excursions, spa treatments and airport transfers are all covered, so you can simply settle in and enjoy.
The Four Seasons spa is excellent, with treatments that make good use of the jungle setting. There’s also a lap pool and a whirlpool, plus an elevated bar for sundowners over the treetops.
All in all, this is a truly one-of-a-kind adventure, with Four Seasons polish at every turn.
The Rooms
There are just 15 luxury tents, spread out along the ridge for privacy, each with its own spectacular view.
The tents are designed as open, airy spaces, with handcrafted furnishings inspired by 19th-century expeditions.
Each one has a large outdoor deck and a choice of a king-size bed or two twins.
