Solo Travellers
Set along the banks of the Ping River and just a short walk from the city centre, Na Nirand Resort offers a tranquil environment to relax and unwind in during your stay in Chiang Mai.
The resort’s blend of traditional Lanna and colonial design creates a charming vintage ambience that compliments the city and sets the tone for your stay. Ideal for couples or solo travellers seeking a peaceful respite with a touch of class, the Na Nirand offers comfortable rooms, a serene ambience, and a convenient location for exploring Chiang Mai and the surrounding area.
The resort is centred around a huge rain tree, and the spacious grounds are meticulously manicured with a garden area leading directly to the gently flowing Ping River, creating a calm and quiet atmosphere.
The onsite riverside restaurant is highly recommended for evening meals, but if you prefer to explore the hundreds of restaurants in the city, it’s only a short walk or shorter tuk-tuk ride from the hotel.
The Rooms
All the rooms are positioned around the long swimming pool facing the imposing rain tree and the picturesque Ping River. The ground floor rooms offer direct access to the swimming pool which is handy, but if you prefer a little more privacy we’d recommend staying on the upper floor. Usually, we might worry that the proximity of the rooms to the pool could mean a potentially noisy stay, but the Na Nirand caters primarily for couples and solo travellers so you’re unlikely to have any issues.
The colonial style is a constant theme throughout the resort; rooms are furnished with high-quality wood furniture and fittings, all of which add to the vintage ambience.
