It is ideally located right on the Chao Phraya River, a stone’s throw from Phra Sumen (the old city fortress), opposite local restaurants, shops and bars and only a short stroll from the hustle and bustle of Khao San Road if you want to get swept up in the chaos (we don’t blame you if you prefer to dodge the crowds, though).
The staff are very attentive and have plenty of smiles for all the guests while wooden furniture, splashes of crisp white in the walls, candles and fresh flowers create a modern-Thai-chic ambience.
The riverfront restaurant offers a good range of Thai, Asian and European food in a classy setting. Breakfast is buffet style and can be eaten inside the restaurant or out on the patio by the pool. The Mezzanine Bar on the second floor is a lovely spot to enjoy a drink in the evening, with cinematic views of the river.
The hotel has 68 contemporary rooms most with private balconies, some with great views of the river. The beds are large and comfortable; the bathrooms well stocked and spacious.
Wander out to the swimming pool that overlooks the river, with sun loungers and seating for R&R in the peak of the heat. There is also a well-equipped gym on the 3rd floor.
As if all of this wasn’t enough, this hotel is also fantastic value for money. It’s truly an undiscovered gem in the heart of Bangkok.
