Sala Phuket sits on Mai Khao, a long, unspoilt beach in Phuket’s protected north-west. It’s one of the island’s most stylish resorts, with crisp white architecture, cool interiors and a calm, laid-back feel.
It’s a world away from the busier beaches further south, yet still close to the airport.
Two azure pools sit between the beach and the restaurant, a striking white building with day beds, private dining corners and a cocktail bar.
The spa offers a full range of treatments, with massage suites, herbal steam baths and a sauna.
The setting is peaceful and every detail has been carefully thought through, which makes it a lovely choice for honeymooners and families alike.
All in all, this is a chic, easy-going beach resort in one of Phuket’s most beautiful spots.
The Rooms
There are 79 rooms and villas across seven categories, all with refined, contemporary interiors.
Most come with their own private pool. The Deluxe Balcony rooms are the exception, but they make up for it with lovely outdoor bathtubs.
The Pool Villas are the stars, with spacious lounges, outdoor bathrooms, walled gardens and glass doors that open straight onto your pool. Both one- and two-bedroom villas are available.
