Sripakpra Resort
Unique stilted resort, Sunrise or sunset boat trips, Secluded location
Couples,
Families
Sitting over the Songkhla Lake, Sripakpra is a stilted resort with wooden walkways connecting each building and room.
A stay at this secluded spot is bound to include some time relaxing by the lovely pool, which faces out over the water, and chilling out in the lobby lounge area, with its high ceilings, wooden floorings, swinging lounge chairs and nets hanging out over the lake. You can take out the free bicycles and peddle around the lake, or head out on a bird-watching excursion in Thale Noi. It’s also a great spot from which to venture out on the water on sunrise or sunset boat trips, visiting the surrounding fishing villages.
As for dining options, the food at breakfast is simple, but the restaurant is quite popular for lunch and dinner, even amongst travellers staying elsewhere or passing through.
With its serene setting on the edge of Thale Noi, Sripakpra Resort is ideal for travellers who want direct access to one of Thailand’s most atmospheric wetland landscapes.
The resort offers boat access into the Thale Noi Reserve, making it a strong choice for birdwatchers and photographers hoping to experience the sunrise colours and abundant wildlife up close. There’s also an on-site restaurant serving fresh local dishes, so you can end the day with regional flavours without leaving the lakeside setting.
If you appreciate peaceful surroundings, gentle exploration, and a stay rooted in the local rhythm, Sripakpra Resort is a great match.
The Rooms
The 37 rooms and suites are light and airy, with quite a modern style and are topped with thatched roofs. The deck areas are a lovely spot to sit and relax overlooking the lake, and some even have wooden swings. Furnishings are comfortable and beds are fitted with mosquito nets.
