A boutique hotel in Krabi province, right on a wide stretch of powdery white sand beach that feels both private and peaceful.
Built in a classic Southern Thai style, the buildings sit gently among the greenery, with care taken to leave as many trees as possible standing. The hotel has a large stretch of beach frontage and comfortable bean-bags, hammocks and hanging chairs for lazing and watching the days pass by.
The view out across the turquoise waters of the Phang-Nga bay and the Hong Islands is magnificent and changes dramatically with the rise and fall of the tide and the shifting shades of sunlight.
Whilst being luxurious, the Tubkaak concept is actually more nature orientated.
The main restaurant is located on a wooden terrace on the beachfront. A selection of international and Thai dishes are available and a fantastic variety of cocktails. In-room dining is also offered.
All in all, it’s an excellent property with first-rate management and staff and a wonderful location. The Tubkaak is about 40 minutes drive from Krabi airport and 20 mins from the lively resort town of Ao Nang.
The Rooms
The resort offers villas and pool residences ranging from one-bedroom Garden View Villas to three-bedroom Pool Residences.
Each features king-size beds, indoor and outdoor bathrooms, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, private terraces, and elegant Thai décor.
Pool villas with larger living spaces are ideal for families.
The vast Tubkaak Suite is the ultimate beachfront escape with its own swimming pool and even a sauna. There are two detached bedrooms for privacy, each with their own en-suite bathroom, perfect for sharing the experience with friends.
