Reni Pani has a keen wildlife and conservation focus, owned and operated by avid wildlife enthusiasts. All the rooms are furnished with local materials, and the whole place has a lovely, comfortable, and very authentic vibe. Surrounded by 30 acres of Satpura forest cover, the area is teeming with wildlife: look out for sloth bear, gaur, leopards, endemic butterflies, and Malabar Giant Squirrel, plus, of course, the elusive tiger.
In the heart of central India, Satpura offers its visitors a unique experience: a walking safari through tiger country. There are also the usual jeep and elephant safaris, plenty of incredible bird spotting opportunities, and several beautiful waterholes to admire along the way. Satpura National Park is considered one of India’s best-kept secrets, relatively unknown on the tourist trail and thus mostly uninhabited by crowds.
At the jungle lodge, there are twelve luxury cottages designed using three different structures. We would highly recommend the hill cottages for fantastic jungle views over the forest canopy from the deck. Some of the rooms feature outdoor showers, and all have bay windows and luxurious bathrooms. There’s a lovely swimming pool, a pleasant outdoor bar, and communal dining locations where you can enjoy delicious Western-style cuisine and get swept up in conservational enthusiasm.
Reni Pani Jungle Lodge is just 20 minutes away from the National Park and Tawa Reservoir, making it an excellent base for exploring this beautiful part of the world. This isolated jungle retreat is an authentic and exceptional experience and comes highly recommended.
