Whilst the term ‘boutique hotel’ can be rather meaningless today, we use it to describe the best hotels in India with less than 25 rooms. On an Experience Travel Group holiday, a boutique hotel will always have character and an informal atmosphere conducive to enjoyment that will add to your overall India holiday experience.
India has a wonderful depth and breath of this type of hotel and, whilst some of the country's ‘heritage hotels’ also meet this description, in general we are focusing the 'boutique' category on those which have been built for their guests and perhaps run in a more professional style, without detracting from the particular character of the region or place where they sit.
Our consultants can advise on the right balance of hotels for you: for us, the perfect India holiday often involves a stay in several different types of hotel, in order to best experience what this incredible country has to offer.
