The Siam @ Siam Design Hotel is a great place to stay in the heart of Bangkok. With excellent panoramic city views and, a great spa and a wide range of facilities, it has been creating quite a stir since it opened in early 2007.
The hotel is located next to the famous MBK mall, National Stadium and the Skytrain station there, making it convenient for getting around Bangkok and ideal for those interested in shopping whilst in town.
The hotel has 203 rooms located on the higher floors of the sky-rise building. Dramatic interior design gives the hotel a striking edge and decidedly modern atmosphere, with polished steel and cement, gleaming glass and hardwoods combining to great effect. The rooms themselves are spacious and well-appointed, with large beds and well-equipped bathrooms. Colours are bold throughout, with oranges and reds complemented by subtle lighting. Rooms have televisions and DVD players and internet access. Rooms are split into two main categories, Leisure and Biz, and we would recommend paying the little extra for the latter.
The hotel has a wide range of features and amenities. An excellent outdoor swimming pool offers spectacular views of Bangkok. The hotel spa is offers everything you need for a total pampering and is particularly well equipped, as is the fitness centre. An assortment of bars and restaurants provide spaces for serious dining and relaxed socialising. The rooftop bar has both indoor and outdoor seating, again with stunning views.
The Siam @ Siam offers yet another unique choice of accommodation in Bangkok. Good value and well located, the youthful atmosphere and style will appeal to many.
Deluxe - This is our first really 'upmarket' category. It might be a beautiful tiny hotel with very limited facilities or a 5* resort hotel with all the trimmings; but any hotel in this category will be a well-run establishment with very comfortable rooms, a strong service ethos and excellent food.
