Tubkaak, Krabi, Krabi

The Tubkaak is a boutique hotel in Krabi province. Located on a wide stretch of powdery white sand beach, the Tubkaak is both private and peaceful. Built in typical Southern Thai style, the design and architecture has protected the beautiful natural environment in which the resort sits.

Great care was taken not to fell trees and other flora during the construction. The hotel has a large stretch of beach frontage and comfortable bean-bags, hammocks and hanging chairs for lazing and watching the days pass by. The view out across the turquoise waters of the Phang-Nga bay and the Hong Islands is magnificent and changes dramatically with the rise and fall of the tide and the shifting shades of sunlight.

Whilst being luxurious, the Tubkaak concept is actually more nature orientated. Great pride is taken in the natural environment and there are many outdoor spaces to relax and spend time. The main restaurant is located on a wooden terrace on the beachfront. A selection of international and Thai dishes are available and a fantastic variety of cocktails. In-room dining is also offered.

The Tubkaak has 58 rooms in a range of categoris including  'Superior Rooms', Deluxe Rooms', 'Seaview Rooms' and suites. Rooms have private balcony or terrace with day bed and are furnished in an understated, minimal Thai style. All rooms have separate shower, open-air sunken bathtubs and king size beds. All rooms have dvd players whilst the 'Seaview Rooms' and all suites also have separate music sound systems. The Tubkaak Suite is the pick, with beachfront location and private swimming pool.

A large free-form swimming pool is located in the centre,, around which a number of the distinctive villas are scattered. There is a library and coffee bar with free internet access, a boutique and a salon. The hotel has a quality spa and offers a variety.of excursions in the region, from day boat trips and scuba diving to mountain bike riding.

An excellent property with first rate management & staff and a wonderful location. The Tubkaak is about 40 minutes drive from Krabi airport and 20 mins from the lively resort town of Ao Nang.
