Amanoi, Nha Trang

The Aman hotel group have created a magnificent resort in one of the most breathtaking coastal locations in Vietnam.  Nestled inside a national park, close to a local fishing village, some 50km south of Nha Trang, Amanoi sits on a mountainous promontory with panoramic views of a beautiful bay.  Sweeping unobtrusively down the verdant hillside the resort is like no other in the country.

As with other Aman resorts, Amanoi spans a large area but only accommodates a small number of guests. With just 31 pavilions peace and privacy are virtually guaranteed. In general, the pavilions are all of a similar design aesthetic; they are contemporary in style incorporating natural materials with sumptuous soft furnishings. Some pavilions have views of the mountains whilst others overlook the lake or the bay. For a supplement you can book into a pavilion with its own private swimming pool or for larger groups there are even 4/5 bed villas complete with pool and staff.

As an alternative to enjoying the white sand beaches, snorkelling and complimentary water sports around Vinh Hy Bay you could take one of the guided treks through the national park with its birds, mammals and monkeys. If relaxation is more your style then you can unwind at the beach club or visit the exquisite lakeside spa for signature treatments and take in the views from one of the tranquil relaxation rooms.

Additional facilities at Amanoi include a fitness suite, yoga pavilion and Pilates studio and we should not forget the restaurants where you can enjoy delicious locally sourced fish amongst other fantastic delicacies.

You can rest assured that Amanoi is superb - a beautiful location and unadulterated luxury – with the added benefit that the weather in this part of Vietnam tends to be more consistent than in other areas. A visit to Amanoi would sit perfectly with a couple of nights exploring Ho Chi Minh City and would also work well with a visit to Cambodia (maybe even staying in the sister property Amansara).
