Nham Village provides a peaceful retreat in a rural country setting in Tam Coc, on the outskirts of Ninh Binh in Northern Vietnam.
Surrounded by water lily ponds and lush green mountains, the resort’s design was inspired by traditional villages of the region with an emphasis on simple countryside living. For guests who need a little more activity than relaxing by the pool, having spa treatments, and embracing the slow life, there are plenty of activities nearby, with caves, temples, and treks just a short drive away.
With a boutique feel throughout, the rooms are spacious and solidly built with a rustic feel and do feel timeless in their style. All the rooms have easy pool access and offer scenic views which give the resort its unique ambience, and there isn’t much to choose between them. However, we’d advise staying in the higher-numbered rooms if possible, as they are further from the entrance and offer a more private experience.
Nham Village is ideal for anyone looking for a rural getaway in idyllic surroundings but is probably more suited to couples due to there being only one family room. We’d also suggest some caution for those with small children due to the amount of open water around which could be a worry for parents.
