Alex plays a key role on the Concierge team, stepping in as soon as an ETG holiday is booked to make sure everything flows smoothly in the lead-up to departure.
Whether it’s answering any last-minute questions that pop up, arranging pre-departure calls, or keeping things on track with the Travel Team, Alex helps bring that signature ETG ease before a trip even begins.
Originally from Auckland, Alex moved to the UK for a change of scene and more chances to explore the world. She’s worked behind-the-scenes in travel for a few years, so she knows exactly how great holidays come together – and where thoughtful planning really makes the difference.
Her own travels are guided by curiosity, especially in Asia. Vietnam drew her back twice, hooked by the street food, pace of life, and its layered, complex history. She spent time volunteering in a rural town outside Hanoi, supporting people with disabilities, and balanced that experience with plenty of curbside pho and time spent among limestone karsts and winding waterways.
A self-confessed history buff, Alex found visiting Vietnam War sites especially moving. Next on her list? Sri Lanka or India… to see the different ways of life, taste the diverse cuisine, and (naturally) to wander the historic landmarks.
