Holly put together a fabulous itinerary for us in Northern Thailand and Laos, listening carefully to our likes and dislikes and what we wanted to get out of the trip. The itinerary worked really well, we wouldn't change anything. The guides were all excellent and really enhanced our holiday.

Our 'Pioneer Experience' gave us a fantastic opportunity to visit Nepal. Our itinerary was stimulating and varied. It coincided with the festival of Tihaa or Diwali and therefore allowed us to experience a special family time of year.Our guide,Anup, was charming and knowledgeable. He invited us to join his family for their special Diwali celebrations ,which was such a memorable experience and also a privilege. Trekking in the Annapurna foothills was a significant part of our two week visit. The chance to trek from Lodge to Lodge, and to see the village way of life ,was fascinating. We were fortunate to see the sun rise on the Annapurna Range each morning which was unforgettable. To stay at a Homestay in Hemjakot was special. Such a stay is an immersive experience and allowed us to understand village life. The hospitality of our host family was so warm,genuine,kind and generous. It was fun to help with the meal preparation,and fascinating to see Benita's joy in using her newly acquired washing machine for the first time. The money generated by the homestay project has enabled her three children to attend boarding school in Pokhara. The UNESCO Heritage Sites in Kathmandu,Bhaktapur and Patan are fascinating. Restoration after the 2015 earthquake is ongoing but the attention to detail and craftsmanship of that which has been restored is exquisite. The variety of our itinerary, which included a hands on session in Ceramics in Bhaktapur,gave a unique insight into the Nepalese way of life. Every single person we met was charming,food was delicious and accommodation very comfortable. We would thoroughly recommend ETG for their attention to detail in creating a perfect holiday.

I was very excited for our children to learn about different cultures, foods and see how people live in different countries. Our trip ticked every box and more and would highly recommend traveling from Vietnam to Cambodia to anyone that loves to explore
