I was traveling to India for the first time with a friend who’d been there 35 years ago. As two women in their late 60’s we wanted some help and guidance without too much hand holding, this was perfectly arranged into our itinerary. We had a driver throughout the trip who was kind and helpful, we went from Delhi to Jaipur by train then drove to Pushka and onto Udaipur via Fort Kumbhalgarth. We wanted the trip to be about immersing ourselves in Rajastani India, we achieved that in bucket loads! From strolling through New Delhi to early morning markets, rickshaw rides, street food tasting, taking part in a local festival, visiting a block printing factory in Jaipur, shopping for beautiful cashmere, driving through beautiful countryside up to the incredible views from Fort Kumbhalgarth. Then our arrival, as it was getting dark, at our stunning hotel in Udaipur, roaming the streets the next day, more wonderful shopping, a Palace visit, our early morning bike ride into the countryside, a boat trip around the lake and a visit to a treasure store of Indian art and antiques. Sadly we had to come home!

We’ve had the most amazing time in Borneo exceeding all expectations. From the moment I made contact with James from ETG I’ve had an excellent service. We booked a 10 day personalised tour covering history (cultural triangle), culture, nature and beach relaxation. We were chauffeured/guided throughout by an excellent guide who was most responsive, helpful and flexible to our needs. The holiday met & exceeded expectations.
