Nestled in the small village of Darbargadh, the Tree of Life is a boutique retreat offering a peaceful stay with a personal touch.
The town of Dared is architecturally fascinating, and the Tree of Life fits perfectly with its surroundings.
Though Dared is hidden away in rural Western India, it’s well-positioned to explore the region. Just a short drive south is the historic town of Bhavnagar, while an even shorter drive west lies the expansive wildlife sanctuary of the Blackbuck National Park. As Dared is also just 3.5 hours from Ahmedabad, the Tree of Life is convenient for exploring the region and offers a cosy and calm stay.

An expansive terrace wraps around the building with views of Darbargadh on one side and the hotel’s swimming pool on the other, ideal for a morning coffee or an evening drink. The hotel’s main appeal is the tranquil atmosphere and impeccable service.
The Tree of Life is a unique fusion of heritage charm, serene surroundings, and fantastic hospitality, and we’d recommend a one or two-night stay to anyone travelling in the region.

The Rooms
The hotel is a well-maintained heritage property with just nine rooms, each tastefully decorated with a blend of traditional elegance and modern comfort.
With such a small number of rooms, the hotel’s team can offer a more personalised experience, and many guests feedback that they felt more like friends than staff.
