Nagarkot Community Homestay offers a rare opportunity to stay in private rooms within family homes, surrounded by forested hills and sunrise views that stretch across the Annapurna and Langtang ranges.
This eco-friendly, community-run homestay invites you into the daily life of Chhetri and Brahmin communties, where you’ll stay in a private room and share in their traditions. Join calming yoga sessions, help make Tapari leaf plates or Batti oil lamps, and cook alongside your hosts as you learn about their beliefs, crafts and cuisine.
The homestay comprises approximately 10–13 private rooms across community homes. Each is individually decorated and includes Western-style bathrooms (some with shared bathrooms), free Wi‑Fi, and seating or dining space. Rooms are modest yet comfortable and many offer hill‑view balconies or terraces of the village and surrounding peaks. This stay is a truly one-of-a-kind opportunity, which we wholeheartedly recommend.
