There are brilliant water sports facilities here, transparent canoes, snorkelling safaris, and sailing are but a few ways to experience the impressive marine world. For those more adventurous, a five star PADI Eco Dive Centre offers excellent diving opportunities, whilst the Marine Centre offers educational courses about the wildlife of the surrounding reefs.
For guests who are looking for a more relaxing stay, the Baros Spa offers truly personalised treatments, aiming to soothe both the body and mind. Yoga and meditation instruction is available upon request.
No children are allowed on the island, making it the perfect destination for couples looking for a quiet and relaxing place to spend their holiday.
The 45 beachside villas open up to direct beach access and are surrounded by lush exotic vegetation, the 30 over-water villas look out over the pristine waters and tropical marine life. Villas range from the impressive Baros residence, found in a walled garden at the centre of the island, to the tranquil beach villas next to the lagoon. Seven Premium Pool Villas and 5 new Pool Water Villas are available as well. All rooms are contemporary in design using bright colours with natural light and deep teak wood creating an atmosphere of understated sophistication and elegance.

This itinerary will show you the main highlights of Sri Lanka as well as something a little different with our unique cultural experiences. You’ll also have the chance to explore the beautiful and mostly undiscovered eastern coast of the country before flying off to the Maldives to relax in style for four nights.
