Saigon Vespa Tour
This is a fantastic way to see Saigon just like a local. Zipping through the city on your iconic Vespa moped, you’ll stop to taste the tantalising treats of street food stalls and get swept up in Saigon’s dynamic nightlife.
This Vespa tour begins when your personal Vespa driver/guide collects you from your hotel. First, head to a central café-bar to meet the rest of the tour group. While getting to know each other over a sundowner, you will chat and relax before heading off to your first restaurant.
The first restaurant sits in the heart of the city’s residential area. Legend has it that it was once the stronghold of the Vietnamese Mafia! It is an authentic roadside stall, with eels swimming in tanks and frogs staring up at you. Here, you will find interesting dishes that call for your adventurous side, all of fantastic quality.
As the tour continues, you will visit a variety of different restaurants while riding alongside locals on the busy streets. The highlight at the end of the tour is “The Secret Garden.” This small jazz café hides so discreetly in the Saigon backstreets that you could not find it alone. To reach it, venture into an old Vespa maintenance store and climb a nondescript stairway. You will be amazed by the dark, velvety, atmospheric rooms, alive with local musicians. There, enjoy singers, guitarists, and violinists while sampling a glass of Café Da, the frozen Vietnamese coffee – it’s incredible.
All drinks, including alcoholic beverages, and food are included in this Vespa tour, which runs from about 7 pm until 10:30 pm.
For safety reasons, this Vespa tour is not suitable for children under 12 years old.
