Info : Abode
Abode is located right in the middle of Colaba, the old British quarter, known as a vibrant and fascinating part of Mumbai. This one-of-a-kind accommodation option in the bustling city is attractive, characterful, and a little bit offbeat. Come here for a stylish combination of modern comfort and vintage elegance.
Colaba, on the southernmost tip of Mumbai, is compact, easy to walk around, and packed with interesting things to see and do. There are chic boutiques, cafes, bars, and restaurants opening all the time. Observe the fishermen on the Sassoon Docks and amble down the Strand Promenade. At the hotel, there’s a café, a spa room, a fitness studio, and a boutique showcasing local crafts and wares.
Abode pays tribute to the Bombay heritage with loads of original Indian artwork and vintage furniture pieces. Turn a corner in the hotel and you’ll be confronted with something new and fascinating to look at. There are only 20 rooms in total, and they’re all different. Some are small and some are large, some welcome plenty of natural light and others are a little on the dark side. If you need the traditional luxury amenities, you might be put off by the open bathroom concept featured in some of the rooms. Otherwise, it’s a unique and stylish place to call home when you’re in Mumbai.
Superior - This is what we would describe as our standard category. These will be decent 3/4* hotels providing a really good level of service. We would generally expect them to be providing a little something extra, in terms of character, guest experience or facilities too.
