Day 1

Your adventure begins

Depart on your flight to Delhi.

Days 2 - 3

Delhi

On arrival, you’ll be greeted by your private driver, who will accompany you throughout your tour. This private car allows for great flexibility and freedom while exploring. After freshening up at your hotel in the heart of New Delhi, your guide will take you on a fascinating exploration of Lutyens’ New Delhi, designed during the British Raj.

The following morning, dive into the vibrant chaos of Old Delhi with a guide who will tailor the walk to your interests. Wander through twisting lanes, sample local delicacies, and uncover stories of this historically rich area. Your walk concludes with a delicious lunch in one of the city’s remaining havelis (traditional Mughal mansions). The afternoon is yours to relax or explore at leisure.

Day 4

Agra & The Taj Mahal

After breakfast, your chauffeur will drive you down the highway to Agra.

Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and check into your hotel before visiting India’s most iconic monument: the Taj Mahal. Renowned for its sublime beauty and historical significance, this extraordinary structure is a highlight of any visit to India.

Days 5 - 8

Ranthambore & Ramathra Fort

From Agra, you’ll take a scenic train journey to Sawai Madhopur, an experience that offers a fascinating glimpse into local life as trains are integral to Indian culture. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you for a short drive to your hotel near Ranthambore National Park, where you’ll embark on exhilarating safaris in search of the park’s legendary tigers, as well as deer, langurs, jackals, and other wildlife.

After exploring the park, travel to Ramathra Fort, a stunning heritage property converted into a luxurious boutique hotel. Perched on a hilltop, the fort provides incredible views and an unparalleled opportunity to experience rural Rajasthan. Spend your time here exploring the tranquil countryside, strolling through the friendly village, enjoying a boat cruise on the nearby lake, or taking a jeep safari to learn about the region’s traditional farming practices and unhurried way of life.

Days 9 - 10

Jaipur

Next, journey to Jaipur, Rajasthan’s vibrant capital and the renowned Pink City. Check into a beautifully restored haveli, a historic mansion located in the heart of the old quarter, where all buildings are painted a distinctive pink hue. This charming base offers a chance to relax by the pool or explore Jaipur’s bustling streets and markets at your leisure.

A local guide will introduce you to the city’s rich Hindu and Mughal heritage, taking you to iconic sites such as the Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), and the city’s grand palaces and forts, which showcase intricate Indian art and architecture. Jaipur is a sensory feast, with colourful bazaars, fragrant spice markets, and streets buzzing with energy. If time permits, we can arrange unique experiences that take you off the beaten track to uncover even more of this extraordinary city’s life and culture.

Days 11 - 14

Anopura – A Rural Retreat

After exploring Jaipur, your journey continues with a scenic hour-and-a-half drive into the heart of rural Rajasthan, where Anopura awaits. Nestled amidst vast farmland and forest, this villa hotel offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Combining rustic opulence with modern style, Anopura is a serene haven where you can immerse yourself in nature.

Stay in beautifully designed villas, each adorned with warm colours, antique furnishings, and luxurious private pools. Relax and savour meals prepared with ingredients sourced directly from the property’s organic gardens and farms. Explore the extensive grounds, unwind with a massage or yoga session at the in-house spa, or embark on the hotel’s signature wilderness jeep safari, which offers the chance (albeit slim!) to spot leopards and other wildlife in the surrounding forest.
