Your adventure begins
Days 2 - 3
Delhi
Your guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to The Imperial, a glamorous hotel with excellent service, sophisticated guest rooms, colonial architecture and great facilities.
During your time here, to get a sense of this sometimes chaotic, sprawling and disorientating city, you’ll take a guided exploration of both Old and New Delhi, taking in the main sites, but also building up a sense of where you are: taking in the sights and smells. You’ll travel by vehicle and rickshaw so you can get as close as possible to the incredible action.
Days 4 - 5
Agra
Depart Delhi with your chauffeur for a drive along the highway to Agra, where you’ll check in at the beautiful Oberoi Amarvilas. This hotel offers excellent views of the Taj Mahal.
Here, with a private guide, you’ll explore the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, which has imposing red walls. You’ll also have the chance to attend an 80-minute musical extravaganza depicting the romantic saga of Mughal Emperor Shahjahan and his beloved wife Mumtaz, for whom he created the Taj Mahal.
Days 6 - 8
Amanbagh
Transfer by road from The Oberoi Amarvilas to Amanbagh, a beautiful and luxurious base to begin your exploration of Rajasthan. The journey will be broken up with a stop at the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri. This fairy-tale city in the desert is still pristine despite being completely abandoned hundreds of years ago.
Amanbagh is one of the most beautiful hotels in India, offering superb accommodation and food, a delightful swimming pool and trademark top-quality Aman service, so you’ll want to relax and spend time at the property taking advantage of the facilities and your immediate surroundings. However, there are also many fantastic local experiences to enjoy here too. We recommend visiting the Ajabgarh Village, and nearby, Somsagar Lake is an excellent spot for Yoga. About 35 minutes away is Sariska National Park, where you can spot wildlife, including leopards, panthers, wildcats and many types of deer.
Days 9 - 10
Aman-I-Khas, Ranthambore National Park
It’s roughly a 4-hour transfer from Amanbagh to your luxury accommodation at Aman-I-Khas, an opulent tented camp on the edge of Ranthambore National Park.
Here you’ll enjoy game drives in an open-top jeep where you’ll have the chance to spot tigers, hyenas, lizards, and more. Beyond the wildlife experiences, there are a variety of other experiences available at Aman-I-Khas. Delicious meals are included during your stay at Aman-I-Khas.
Days 11 - 13
Jaipur
After a morning game drive, your driver will transfer you to Jaipur, the ‘Pink City’ and the third point of the famous Indian ‘Golden Triangle’ tourist sites. After checking in at your luxury hotel, unwind or head out to explore the surroundings.
Jaipur is a riot of colour. As the capital of Rajasthan, it’s a hectic place with buzzing spice markets, streets filled with multi-coloured saris, and rampaging rickshaw drivers.
Here you’ll spend the day with a local guide exploring the city’s Hindu and Mughal heritage and the many palaces and forts, home to intricate and exquisite Indian art and architecture, including the extraordinary Palace of the Winds. You’ll also have the chance to take a 2-hour heritage walk with an expert local guide and to enjoy a cooking class and dinner with a local family.
Days 14 - 15
Jodhpur
Travel with your driver to Jodhpur, where you’ll check in at your hotel. While here you’ll take a privately guided tour of the “Blue City”, so named after the many houses painted in various hues of blue. Over-looking is the imposing Mehrangarh Fort, the largest fort in Rajasthan, looming over 100m above the city. Stroll through the winding alleyways of the Old City and visit the numerous palaces, temples and spice markets scattered throughout.
Days 16 - 18
Udaipur
Your journey to Udaipur will take you via the famous and remarkable marble Jain temple at Ranakpur. It’s sublime and feels extraordinary for being in the middle of nowhere.
There is plenty of time to relax and enjoy your hotel in Udaipur as well as to enjoy guided tours of the palaces and backstreets. Additionally, there is a chance to take lunch with the Bedla family, as the premier jagirdars (feudal landlords) of Udaipur, the Bedla family played a significant role in the affairs of the state over the centuries. Hear some of their fascinating stories while sampling many authentic culinary delights honed over two centuries.
Day 19
Udaipur to Delhi
Transfer to the airport, wave goodbye to your chauffeur and depart for your flight to Delhi and the last night.
Day 20
Fly home
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

The Kolkata City Experience
On this tour you will start with a visit to Kolkata’s most famous monument, the Victoria Memorial, which is set in beautiful grounds. You’ll then take a walking tour of the vibrant and diverse city of Kolkata, starting at BBD Bagh, formerly known as Dalhousie Square. Much of Kolkata’s finest colonial architecture is in the BBD Bagh area, which houses the secretariat of the state and is the central business hub of the city.
Then visit the Writer’s Building, the General Post Office, St John’s Church and several other Raj-era buildings. Next, drive north to visit a traditional bazaar in “Black Town”, as well as the potter’s colony of Kumartuli. Lunch will be at a fantastic local restaurant, after which you will take a short journey on the historical tram, which is the oldest operating electric tram in Asia, running since 1902. The carriages are basic and you can stay on for as little or as long as you like.
Kolkata is a town to experience, rather than just tick off the sites.
