The Chedi, Muscat Beach

The Chedi is a fantastic luxury beach resort close to the sights of Muscat that can be reached with ease. It is only a short drive from Muscat airport, so it offers effortless relaxation before or after a tour of India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan or Oman itself. This beachfront resort has 150 rooms spread across vast landscaped grounds. With white buildings, arabesque design features and gardens dotted with ponds, the resort is an exceptionally calming space.  You have a choice of three superb swimming pools; the highlight has to be the long pool which, at around 100 metres, is one of the longest infinity pools we’ve seen in Asia. Overlooking the private beach and surrounded by cabanas and sun beds, this is a sublime place in which to unwind.

Next to the long pool you’ll find the state-of-the-art gym and a beautiful Balinese spa. There are restaurants and dining experiences to be enjoyed across the premises. The Restaurant is particularly notable, with expert chefs from India, Southeast Asia and Arabia cooking up exceptional signature dishes from their home countries in a bustling open kitchen.
