The Chedi is a fantastic luxury beach resort close to the sights of Muscat that can be reached with ease.
It is only a short drive from Muscat airport, so it offers effortless relaxation before or after a tour of India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan or Oman itself. The Chedi is even a wonderful place for a holiday in its own right.
This beachfront resort features 150 rooms set within expansive landscaped grounds. White buildings, arabesque details and lily-filled ponds create a calming, elegant atmosphere.
There are three excellent pools, including the standout: a 100‑metre infinity pool—one of the longest in Asia—overlooking the private beach and lined with cabanas and sunbeds.
Next to the long pool is a state-of-the-art gym and a serene Balinese spa. Dining is a highlight, with several restaurants across the property. The Restaurant stands out for its open kitchen and signature dishes from expert Indian, Southeast Asian and Arabian chefs.
