Wake to snow-capped peaks stretching across the horizon and, once night falls, look up to a sky glittering with stars.
Reached after a challenging climb past the renowned Tiger’s Nest Monastery, this simple tented camp sits at around 3,500m and rewards trekkers with vast Himalayan views and remarkable tranquillity.
The accommodation is fairly basic but comfortable enough for most for one night, and the setting, silence and sense of achievement make a night here unforgettable.
The guides and porters ensure your comfort. After some time for relaxation as the sun sets over the Haa region, simple meals are served in the dining tent.
Due to the cold climate and altitude, the accommodation is seasonal and is only open from March to May and from September to early November.
(Sleeping at a high altitude may not suit everyone, so we recommend completing the hike at the end of your trip when you will be better acclimatised.)
Accommodation consists of traditional tents.
Simple but thoughtfully prepared with comfortable beds and warm bedding to keep you cosy in the cool mountain air.
You’ll also find a bathroom tent, and hot water bottles and towels are all provided.
