With just ten valley-view rooms and villas set amidst rhododendrons and orchards, it offers seclusion and refined Bhutanese charm. Guests are welcomed by views that stretch across rice paddies and sacred hills—an elegant retreat in one of the most spiritual corners of Bhutan
Nine hillside rooms with valley views and two freestanding private villas make up the property. Each room has sweeping views down the Mo Chhu River and valley. Rooms are light and airy, with whitewashed walls covered in handpainted designs and wooden beam roofs. Valley View rooms include floor to ceiling windows, while some have terraces as well. The standalone villas are fitted with french windows and a spacious stone terrace with a fire and dining table. For families or groups, the villas are ideal, with two adjoining rooms and a central living space.
The Valley View rooms are quite small, so we recommend upgrading to a private villa. For an intimate and indulgent stay in Punakha, look no further than Como.
