This modern hotel was constructed in 1952 in an upmarket area of New Delhi close to all the cultural and commercial highlights.
The vibe here is classic elegance, and sprawling green lawns and a lovely pool area complement the elegant rooms.
The Claridges is a good base for all types of guests to New Delhi.
Dining here is fun and fabulous, with plenty to choose from. The Dhaba Restaurant offering Indian roadside cuisine, and Jade serves authentic Chinese specialities. Sevilla is inspired by the Mediterranean, and there’s even an old-style bakery.
You can get drinks and snacks at a number of bars (and by the pool) and wherever you go, expect friendly personal service.
The Rooms
The property was renovated in 2022/23 and the public areas have been brought up to date in an excellent way. Some of the rooms have smaller-sized bathrooms. For a slightly more contemporary feel, book a Cabana Room.
