A handsome wooden schooner, hand-built in the traditional phinisi style, sailing some of eastern Indonesia’s most untouched waters.
Tiger Blue was built by hand on the island of Sulawesi, and her traditional design gives her a charm that modern yachts can’t match. Yet on board, you’ll find all the comfort you could wish for.
It’s the places she takes you to – remote islands, pristine beaches and undisturbed reefs – that make her truly special.
Tiger Blue follows set routes through eastern Indonesia, including Komodo, the Banda Islands and Raja Ampat. The crew are some of the most experienced in the region, and the itineraries take in wonderfully unspoilt corners of the archipelago.
On the upper deck, you’ll find spacious day beds and lounges, with a chill-out area at the back looking out over the water. There’s also an indoor salon and a covered dining deck for shadier moments.
The food is a mix of Asian and European dishes, and the chef is happy to cater to requests if you let them know in advance. The Indonesian crew bring great local knowledge and a warm, friendly welcome.
All in all, this is an unforgettable way to explore Indonesia’s islands.
The Rooms
There are five cabins, all with ensuite bathrooms.
Two Master Suites have king-size beds that can become twins, and there’s a double cabin on the upper deck. A twin cabin with bunks and a family cabin with a king-size bed and two singles complete the line-up.
Tiger Blue can be chartered privately for seven to twelve guests, ideal for families or groups of friends. You can also book individual cabins on set departures throughout the year.
