Cultural Discovery from Vietnam to Cambodia
We had a fantastic experience from booking the trip to enjoying it when the time came. I was very excited for our children to learn about different cultures, foods and see how people live in different countries. Our trip ticked every box and more and would highly recommend traveling from Vietnam to Cambodia to anyone that loves to explore.
An Epic Adventure Across Southeast Asia
There were moments while I was out and about where I thought that everyone should experience this kind of mindful travel that Experience Travel organises, as it's not backpacking where you tick off the standard party hotspots, and it's not the typical cruise for tourists to visit the standard sightseeing destinations, but an experience where I really felt I got to know the countries, meet great people and do fun stuff that most people miss.
Extremely well organised Cambodia holiday
We flew to Siem Reap. Lucky enough to have Visal Phok there who was a superb tour guide. So many varied experiences there including Angkor Wat and sunrise on Tonle Sap Lake. Cardomom mountains - what a great place to chill but also to experience great value local trips such as sunset and a brilliant trip to the local village.

The two countries can be combined with a variety of routes and modes of transport. The Mekong River meanders through them both so a great way to visit them is by taking our Cambodia to Vietnam via the Mekong tour between Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh City.
Several flights a day operate between either Siem Reap or Phnom Penh in Cambodia with Saigon and Hanoi in Vietnam, these flights take little more than an hour. There are even short direct flights linking Siem Reap with Danang making it possible to neatly link the two cultural gems of Angkor and Hoi An in even a short holiday.
