This is without question the best standard accommodation within walking distance of the ancient town of Hoi An itself (other hotels of its grade tend to be a few miles out of town at the beach).
At the heart of the resort is an inviting outdoor pool and deck area with plenty of comfortable sun loungers. The resort also has very good spa facilities with several spa rooms and a range of treatments available.
Boat trips are available from the hotel pier and you can choose between a sunrise cruise with breakfast or a sunset cruise with cocktails. Bikes are available through the hotel and there are also additional morning Tai Chi classes.
Anantara Hoi An suits those who prefer a calm riverside setting to the beach, but still want excellent facilities, quality accommodation and thoughtful extras like boat cruises, spa treatments and morning Tai Chi.
Prices are reasonable, so all in all the Anantara is one of our top recommendations in Hoi An town itself.
