Central Vietnam, Vietnam, Hoi An
Full Day Hoi An Exploration
Spend the morning discovering the rich cultural heritage of Hoi An’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old Town.
You’ll start early, before the crowds arrive, with a visit to the iconic 400-year-old Japanese Bridge. Then, head to a rooftop café for an alternative view of the town’s ornate architecture.
As you wander through the narrow backstreets and hidden alleys, your expert guide will show you beautifully preserved merchant houses, atmospheric temples, and bustling markets. Immerse yourself in the living history of this enchanting town and get a sense of what life was like here during its heyday as a Southeast Asian trading port from the 15th to the 19th centuries.
Don’t miss the chance to stop at a small house to sample Nuoc Mot, a refreshing herbal drink made with chamomile, monk fruit, green tea leaves, cinnamon, liquorice, cinnamon stick, and lemongrass. You’ll also have time to browse the numerous boutiques and galleries that line the streets and perhaps pick up a unique souvenir.
Finish your morning with a noodle-making (and eating) experience or a scrumptious lunch at one of our favourite restaurants, which supports disadvantaged youth in hospitality and culinary training.
