Asia is a continent best savoured slowly, and in combination.
Some destinations simply belong together. They may share a border, a river or a coastline, but each has a character distinctly its own, and combining them well is where design shows, and assembly falls short. The pairings we return to have a logic: Sri Lanka’s culture into the Maldives’ stillness, Kathmandu’s noise resolving into Bhutan’s calm, and the Mekong carrying you from Cambodia into Vietnam, two countries worlds apart in character and cuisine, and all the richer for it.
That’s where our Travel Team come in. Our specialists spend years travelling across Asia, learning how places connect, where contrasts bring a journey to life, and which pairings look good on a map but don’t work in reality. They design the sequence so each country makes the next one better, and travelling between them flows.
Below are a few of our favourite combinations.

Important FAQs about Multi-Destination Holidays
Yes, and the design of the sequence is what makes it work. The pairings we return to have a logic: the Mekong carrying you from Cambodia into Vietnam, Sri Lanka’s culture into the Maldives’ stillness, Kathmandu’s flurry resolving into Bhutan’s calm. Two countries without a reason to follow each other produce a tiring itinerary. We start from why you’re travelling and design the sequence so each country makes the next one better.
Two is the most common and usually the most satisfying. Three is possible with three weeks and careful design. Without the luxury of time, you tend to spend more time in airports than in countries. The trips that stay with people are built around depth, not coverage. We’ll tell you honestly if the combination you have in mind is trying to do too much.
It depends on the specific countries and what you want from them. The challenge with combining destinations is that the best season for one may not align with the best season for another. We design around this: sequencing countries to match their conditions, or advising honestly when the timing doesn’t work and suggesting an alternative. Tell us when you’re thinking of travelling and we’ll tell you what’s possible.
Not in the usual sense. Every Experience Travel Group trip is private and designed for the person taking it, but we don’t do “tailor-made”, and that’s deliberate. Because “tailor-made” assembles a trip around what you asked for, from hotels and tours anyone can book. We design around why you’re travelling, using experiences we’ve built ourselves, hand-picked hotels we trust, and chauffeur-guides we’ve worked with for decades. That lets us reach parts of Sri Lanka you wouldn’t have known to ask for.
