Set on a quiet stretch of Koh Russey (‘Bamboo Island’) in Cambodia, JATI is all laid-back island luxury at exceptional value.

Cambodia’s coast may fly under the radar compared to Thailand’s, but that’s part of the charm: think soft sand, bright-blue seas and great snorkelling, minus the crowds. The beach here is peaceful, with orangey-gold sand and plenty to explore just offshore.

The Rooms
Villas at JATI are bright and rustic with little touches of luxury. Created by Cambodian hotelier Sokoun Chanpreda – the business partner of the brilliant designer Bill Bensley – the spaces are thoughtfully designed, with open-plan layouts, views of tropical gardens and fun, colourful textiles.
Garden Villas are especially good value: with private pools and extra living space, they offer more privacy for not much more cost.
The beachfront pools villas give you the most amount of space to play with.
Whether you’re facing the waves or garden greenery, each villa feels like its own little sanctuary.
