Info : Bale
The Bale provides guests with modern sophistication and style at its finest, with the privacy that comes with large pool villas in the peaceful luxury enclave of Nusa Dua. The ultra-modern style is not to everyones taste but the design is incredibly elegant and the luxury and personalised service is of a very high standard.
The 26 pool villas are split into three categories; 14 pavilions, 9 deluxe pavilions and 3 two Bedroom pavilions, all of which have very similar facilities, although the deluxe pavilions do have a few additional extras, and a 24 hour personal butler service. The pavilions are our lead in category and have a good sized private pool, large bathroom, good sized bedroom and appealing private outdoor area with a day bed. For those looking for an extra special stay, the deluxe pavilions are larger in all respects and offer a slightly higher level of comfort, style and luxury. The service is excellent and personalised.
Despite being 30 minutes from the airport and the more lively beach resorts of Jimbaran and Seminyak, Nusa Dua is perfect for those looking to get away from everything and relax in style. With no children under 16 allowed, you can sure to be able to relax in peace! It is a particularly good resort for a honeymoon or those looking for a romantic getaway. The food is excellent with a good international menu, which is good as there are very few alternatives in the immediate vicinity.
The secluded Gegar Beach is a short walk away transportation is also available at any time, free of charge and the hotel has its own beach club and a tie in with a local water sports club. While it is possible to explore the rest of southern Bali from here, the resort is set up to cater to your every need and provide a peaceful, relaxing and romantic getaway.
Luxury - Luxury hotels would have a superb level of service, very comfortable and usually spacious bedrooms, excellent food, great design and character. For us, when we visited, these places all had the 'wow factor'. A luxury hotel should satisfy the criteria of the most discerning clients.
Six great and amazingly different hotels - we would happily recommend any of them. We had three excellent guides as well. And we lost track of the number of "Wow" moments. In addition to the obvious, including Paramban, Borobodur and Bromo, we would add our tour of the markets + rickshaw ride in Malang, and having coffee with Mr Rai at the Agung Rai Gallery in Bali. Our guide in Bali, Otok (?) was excellent at explaining local culture, and we left an offering at his family shrine.
